When I was in one wechat group ,They produce the lifepo4 deep cycle pack, one guy pick up one question : his customer ask:what’s the difference of the BMS , It is for the Home storage Energy and the Deep Cycle Battery pack, I think it is good question, so i pick it up

Normally the structure and the series way of  battery is similar for Both of the types ,but the BMS will be greatly different.

      The BMS in Home Storage Energy System normally will equip the Communication interface .like the RS485 or Can. Because  It will work together with the Solar panel and Solar inverter with MPPT . usually we hope the storage energy system can communicate with the inverter , it will be complete circle from the solar panel to inverter to storage energy . the Storage Energy system need to work inside and transfer the necessary information to Inverter ,IT will  get more safety warranty for the whole system from solar to storage energy system. Therefore the requirement of Smart BMS will be more high . in the market , many brand of Smart BMS can reach it . it is like jikong, JIABAIDA,DALY, PEICHENG , Of course .some small manufactures cant produce this kind of the Smart BMS

      The BMS in the Deep Cycle pack will not be complicated . it just manage the running of battery inside . no requirement of communication from outside .so for the basic function of the BMS is ok .

     The manufacture difference of the two type BMS will be more professional. in this article ,we don’t mention it.if there are many  people  who are interest . I will share it in next article .
