1 The necessity of waterproof  box of Electric tricycle introduction As below :

This topic is from my new product  ,  the passengers electric tricycle TUKTUK  , We plan to sell them in the west Africa like Nigeria and Ghana . in this area. the climate is long rain season .near to sea like south of Nigeria , the air will be high salty . so when we design it . we focus on the waterproof design . including the box and the cable and the all the connection of the wires on the electric keke . it is really a big project .  otherwise if the water enter the lithium ion Battery to damage it . the lost wil lbe big . and  effect our brand  and increase the pressure of service after sales . 

 so we plan to upgrade the whole system into the waterproof product . 

below is the the solution of the box solution

2 The Type of  Box of  lithium ion Battery of E- Tricycle

we have research in the market . normally . most the lithium on battery use this type Cable .as below 

the carbon steel + spray plastic  or other arts of surface . and some will use the stainless steel + input glue . and few people will use the structure waterproof 

This cable is ok to use indoor for the home storage energy system . but for the outdoor . always to use it . especially in raining season . maybe it is not enough safe 

So we use another type 

 About the waterproof cable of Electric tricycle 

  1 ) firstly the cable of material :

 normally of the cable is make up for the wire and the connections 

sometime the wire is not enough for the currency to pass or the connector is not enough 

Especially use the cable to discharge , it is more easy to be burn the cable . .for the charging . normally we we will use the slow charging. 10A-20A . normally currency can pass 20A-30A successfully  .but the connector only 10A for lasting currency . max is 15A .but normally the E-Bike , E motor will be reach 40-50A currency for the peak currency 

so firstly you need to know your cable suitable situation .  our waterproof  cable max can pass the 120A current and it can be make up by 6 AWG. We think it is enough for us 

  2) Secondly the cable match the charger 

We will make our charger match the cable . that means when design the Battery . the discharge and charge , w will match the cable and the charger . Actually it is really not easy . in order to help the customer ,we spend too much on that 

3) Thirdly  the cable match the lithium ion battery and the BMS

When we begin to design it , we will make the cable specification to match our Battery Max charging and discharging current . if the wire is enough to pass them, they are  the BMS  protection current and the Motor speed and max current and the controller limited Current . It is not a simple cable . It need many  professional knowledge to do it
