Its core structure includes a\u00a0<strong>positive electrode (cathode)<\/strong>, a\u00a0<strong>negative electrode (anode)<\/strong>, a\u00a0<strong>separator<\/strong>, an\u00a0<strong>electrolyte<\/strong>, and a\u00a0<strong>case\/enclosure<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>       2) here is the basic information<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Cathode<\/strong>: Typically made of lithium-containing compounds such as lithium cobalt oxide (LCO) or lithium iron phosphate (LFP), which are key to battery performance.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Anode<\/strong>: Often made of graphite or similar carbon materials.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Electrolyte<\/strong>: Transports lithium ions between the electrodes.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Separator<\/strong>: Prevents direct contact between the electrodes, avoiding internal short circuits.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>fso for exmaple<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-28f84493 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/ztekbri.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/LIFEPO4-BATTERY-STUCTURE-1024x751.png\" alt=\"\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n\n\n<p>      3) So when we being to charge\/discharge, lithium ions &#8220;shuttle&#8221; back and forth through the electrolyte between the electrodes, which is why lithium-ion batteries are often called &#8220;<strong>rocking-chair batteries<\/strong>&#8220;.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Below are the main classification methods and types.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">2. The Electrolyte Type: Liquid vs. Solid<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Liquid Lithium-ion Battery (LIB)<\/strong>: Uses liquid organic electrolyte. Most mature technology, widely used.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Polymer Lithium-ion Battery (LIP)<\/strong>: Uses solid polymer or gel-like electrolyte instead of liquid. Safer, more flexible in shape (thin, curved, etc.).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Solid-state Battery<\/strong>: Uses completely solid electrolyte. Theoretically safer and higher energy density, considered a future technology; still under R&amp;D or small-scale application.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">3.
